I'm pretty sure that this is Whitby in Yorkshire. I was here a couple of time last year and it's a pretty distinctive harbour and a really historic town.

Okay.. Stonehenge, Parliament and Big Ben.. those are the easy ones. Then Caernarvon Castle in Wales. Most of the others I have identified by searching through Lonelyplanetimages.com. - Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island (this is the castle on the hill) - cows grazing near Avebury - Whitby at dawn (this is the town in reddish light with a bit of waterfront)

Lovely view it looks very much like Torquay as I remember it last time I was there was 1982 it beats Redbridge Essex
