What's it like to work in the Netherlands?
The Amsterdam office is responsible for coordinating all Google activities in the Netherlands. We have teams working on Google's consumer products as well as on the advertising products (Adwords and Adsense) we deliver to businesses and publishers. We are building a specific team for our new media solutions. Other teams work on Enterprise Solutions and Strategic Partnerships. Finally, we have support functions for all activities (PR, Regulatory, etc).
We're building a company around the idea that work should be challenging and the challenge should be fun. The thing which excites us most is a great idea that really makes a difference in practice. Having a few lava lamps and pool tables on hand doesn't hurt either. In fact, we've become known for providing free lunches, kitchens on every floor, a gym allowance, and on-site massage. Recently, we've even added a travel allowance to help you save transportation costs.
