Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de localiser un réseau local sans fil WLAN, consistant à émettre (31) une requête à un fournisseur de services sans fil d'un réseau sans fil pour obtenir une localisation du réseau local sans fil (WLAN), et à recevoir (37) de la part du fournisseur de services sans fil la localisation dudit réseau local sans fil (WLAN). Un appareil inclut un émetteur-récepteur sans fil (206) conçu pour émettre et recevoir une communication sur un réseau sans fil, et une unité de commande (210) conçue pour traiter une requête concernant une localisation d'un réseau local sans fil WLAN (104) et pour assurer la réception à partir du réseau sans fil de la localisation du réseau local sans fil WLAN (104).
