Abstract

Patent of Privilege of Invention to a system and method comprehended by interconnected links of listed words organized in groups and areas of interests characterized by links of geographical images representing the territorial realities of different maps of any part of the world, going from general to specific or from specific to general in its different levels of proportion, where the most general is the representation of the world map and the most specific is the representation of the particular territory of any person of any part of the world or any part of the world itself, where also the intermediate geographical levels are naturally represented in between these two poles and they are all connected among themselves by links, enabling the utilization of different scales of size, dimensions, places and geographical classifications, embracing from the terrestrial globe, its different countries, states, provinces, cities, counties, areas, including even the smaller place of possible simulation as universal symbolic references integrating the complex whole and creating a specific pictorial form of navigation based in a simultaneous sense of space and linguistic intelligence, providing restriction, proportionality and congruence to the linguistic links in relation to the geographical territorial links.

Description

"SYSTEM AND METHOD TO FACILITATE THE NAVI GATION
E^ TIffi INTERNET"
[System and Method of Geographical and Linguistic Orientation to Facilitate the Navigation in the Internet] The present patent with priyϊlege of invention has as its goals and objectives to provide a system and method of geographical and linguistic to facilitate the navigation in the Internet, as to be used in sites, virtual spaces and similar tσ which was given- original corEStruction, with the purposes to provide better use. and mote efficient ways in finding and selecting information, as well as providing to end users simpler ways to navigate sites and areas of their interest in the Internet.
There are already systems and methods of linguistic orientation which are formatted by links of listed words and organized in groups and areas of interest in sites of search in orderto meet the information and directing to sites in the Internet.
Even though these types -of systems and methods are largely used, a few inconveniences may be found when usiπg^ these systems a d methods, for example, certain difficulty in navigating- and finding the desired information due to the feet that there are several countries with different idioms and an enormous quantity of unnecessary information presented, what may consist of an awkward operation, possible of errors, uncomfortable and long, specially in locations unknown by name, idiom or language, style of alphabet and its respective letters and symbols.
Another problem with these usuaL systems and methods consists in the fact that the end users may only restrict themselves to sites and information records, which causes the loss of updated and dynamic information. Facing these problems and with the purpose of overcome them it was developed the system and method of geographical and linguistic orientation to facilitate the navigation in the Internet, object of the present patent, which consists of providing the system and method of links with geographical images representing the territorial realities simultaneously with the linguistic links integrating the complex as a whole so that the end users are able to guide and direct themselves in a congruent way proportional to the navigation and its stages of geographical advancement and localization. The geographical images representing the territorial reahties solve the problems regarding names, idioms, style of alphabet and its respective letters and symbols because those are universal symbolic references simplifying comprehension and interaction so that the virtual orientation in several countries with different idioms ancf an enormous quantity of information enables a comfortable and faster navigation, with greater possibilities of getting to the point.
This form of construction and orientation provided by the system and method solve the eventual inconveniences, once the geographical links allow the different alternatives to the navigation during its use providing linguistic links at the same time as the geographical portion is chosen by the end user.
As an addition, the navigation operation of the described system and method becomes extremely easier than the traditional systems and methods, due to the fact that the geographical images representing the territorial realities are connected among themselves in the form of maps with links and also offers a simultaneously combination with the linguistic links which are proportionally embraced with the geographic territory opted by the user, creating specific pictorial way of navigation, differing of the usual systems and methods.
The model of the system and method of geographical and linguistic orientation to facilitate the navigation in the Internet consists in making links available (on the screen of the computer or the device being used to interact through the Internet) with maps representing world geographical areas and simultaneously showing a Hst of words in the chosen idiom or language, which represents linguistic links. The user will be able to use the click, touch, voice command or interact in anyway with the system and method in order to choose the links of his/her preference according to the technology available to complete the task. The pictorial factors of orientation may contain different maps, scales, dimensions, places and geographical classifications, embracing from the terrestrial globe, its different countries, states, provinces, cities, counties, areas, including even the smaller place of possible simulation. In the same way, the linguistic links embrace different levels of proportion, from general subjects and topics to the most specific, automatically connected to the respective geographical dimensions, to which the users interact according to the areas of their own interests. The user will be able to interact with any part of the world going from general to specific or specific to general in its different levels of proportion. The most general level is the representation of the world territory and the most specific level is the representation of the particular territory of any person or any part of the world. The intermediate levels are naturally represented in between these two boundary poles and they are all interconnected among themselves in the form of links Following, there is a mere exampl to demonstrate the possibilities that the users are allowed to orient themselves using the sense of space and linguistic intelligence for a better comprehension of the system and method: Me, an Internet user in Brazil, wish to talk randomly with another person from Spain. I enter an Internet site of any country offering the system and method mentioned here. It is displayed on the screen of my computer an image of the world map simultaneously appearing a hst of words of interest enclosing the world on some other free space of the screen. I click the mouse pointer in a represented geographical area of Europe. It will appear a wider image of Europe on the screen as well as a new list of words of areas of interest embracing subjects regarding to Europe. I click the mouse pointer in the geographical area representing Spain. It will appear a wider image of Spain on the screen as well as a new list of areas of interest embracing subjects regarding Spain. At that moment I am able to choose going to any province or city of Spain shown in the map displayed on the screen, or I am able to choose from the list of words and click in any link available or indicating available people to chat. I click on the city of Barcelona, I verify the areas and the streets. I enter a central area and choose a cybernetic environment which provides connection services to the Internet and its clients, this way I am able to instantly interact with a person from there, with the possibilities of seeing the person a d the environment. It is important to emphasize the proportion of the linguistic links in relation to the geographical territories navigated; the idiom, or language of the links are chosen by the users criteria.
Logically, the system and method with such construction can be obtained by different combination of different maps, scales, dimensions, places and different geographical classifications as well as the different areas of linguistic links simultaneously and proportionally in order to attend the user's needs.
