Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Position einer Basisstation eines Mobilfunknetzes ergibt sich die Möglichkeit, auf einfache und schnelle Weise, die Position einer Basisstation mit hoher Genauigkeit unabhängig von veröffentlichten Plänen zu bestimmen, dadurch, dass an wenigstens drei Orten, jeweils die Position des Ortes, eine Nummer eines Rahmens eines von der Basisstation empfangenen Signals sowie der Zeitpunkt des Empfangs bestimmt wird, wobei hieraus die Position der Basisstation ermittelt wird. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung eine entsprechende Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens.
