Abstract

Un terminal mobile (UE) comprend des moyens (CR) d'acquisition de codes pseudo-aléatoires, modulant des signaux reçus de satellites de positionnement en vue appartenant à une constellation (CS) et rapportés à un temps de référence, et des moyens de calcul (MC1-MC3) propres à déterminer sa position à partir des codes acquis et de données de navigation contenues dans les signaux reçus. Les moyens d'acquisition (CR) sont chargés, lorsqu'ils reçoivent des données d'assistance représentatives d'un temps de référence approximatif et de la position approximative du terminal (UE), de déterminer des positions estimatives de satellites, des distances estimatives entre le terminal et chacun des satellites en vue et des effets doppler associés, en fonction de couples d'hypothèses portant sur le temps de référence approximatif et la position approximative, puis de déterminer pour chaque couple d'hypothèses une réplique de signal correspondant aux positions et distances estimatives et aux effets doppler associés sur un intervalle de temps choisi, et de sélectionner le couple d'hypothèses correspondant à la réplique de signal qui présente la corrélation maximale avec le signal reçu pendant l'intervalle de temps, de manière à déterminer les codes pseudo-aléatoires modulant les signaux reçus.
