Abstract

A method (400) of operating navigation system (100) having location based services and temporal management comprising selecting a temporal component (204) including a time of interest in a client (10), a server (30), or a combination thereof; filtering navigation and location based information with the temporal component (204) by the client (10), the server (30), or a combination thereof, for forming time of interest relevant information (206); and communicating the time of interest relevant information (206) from the server (30) for display by the client (10).
