図1乃至図3を参照して、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る移動通信システムの構成について説明する。
図4を参照して、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る移動通信システムの動作の一例について説明する。
本発明の第1の実施形態に係る移動通信システムによれば、位置登録処理を行う際に必要最低限の情報を含む「MIB」と「SIB1」と「SIB2」とを受信した場合に、セル選択若しくはセル再選択を行う際に必要な残りの「SIB3-8」について受信していない場合であっても位置登録処理を開始するように構成されているため、位置登録処理が必要になってから通信サービスの提供を受けることができる状態になるまでの時間を短縮することができる。
なお、上述の移動局UEや無線基地局eNBの動作は、ハードウェアによって実施されてもよいし、プロセッサによって実行されるソフトウェアモジュールによって実施されてもよいし、両者の組み合わせによって実施されてもよい。
Claims (8)
- 移動局が、位置登録処理を行う位置登録処理方法であって、
前記移動局が、無線基地局によって報知されている複数のシステム情報のうち、前記位置登録処理を行う際に必要な情報を含む所定のシステム情報を取得した場合に、該複数のシステム情報の残りの取得を完了する前に、該所定のシステム情報に基づいて、該位置登録処理を開始する工程を有することを特徴とする位置登録処理方法。 - 前記位置登録処理が開始された後に、前記複数のシステム情報の残りを取得する工程を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の位置登録処理方法。
- 前記所定のシステム情報は、MIB、SIB1及びSIB2であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の位置登録処理方法。
- 無線基地局によって報知されている複数のシステム情報のうち、位置登録処理を行う際に必要な情報を含む所定のシステム情報を取得した場合に、該複数のシステム情報の残りの取得を完了する前に、該所定のシステム情報に基づいて、該位置登録処理を開始するように構成されている位置登録処理部を具備することを特徴とする移動局。
- 前記位置登録処理が開始された後に、前記複数のシステム情報の残りを取得するように構成されている取得部を具備することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の移動局。
- 前記所定のシステム情報は、MIB、SIB1及びSIB2であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の移動局。
- 移動局が、位置登録処理を行う位置登録処理方法であって、
前記移動局が、無線基地局によって報知されている複数のシステム情報のうち、前記位置登録処理を行う際に必要な情報を含む所定のシステム情報を取得した場合、該複数のシステム情報の残りの取得を完了する前で、かつ、該位置登録処理が完了した後に、該所定のシステム情報に基づいて、発着信処理を開始する工程を有することを特徴とする位置登録処理方法。 - 無線基地局によって報知されている複数のシステム情報のうち、位置登録処理を行う際に必要な情報を含む所定のシステム情報を取得した場合、該複数のシステム情報の残りの取得を完了する前で、かつ、該位置登録処理が完了した後に、該所定のシステム情報に基づいて、発着信処理を開始するように構成されている発着信処理部を具備することを特徴とする移動局。
