Abstract

The invention relates to a method for determining the position of a femtocell. According to said method, a pilot radio signal is emitted by a mobile radio station in a frequency range lower than the frequency ranges used for the mobile radio, said pilot radio signal is captured by a femtocell and is evaluated in order to determine its position, and the femtocell transmits its determined position to the regulation and control instances of a mobile radio service provider via the connection of the femtocell to a communciation network.
