Depending upon the nature of the shading dye there are preferred ranges depending upon the efficacy of the shading dye which is dependent on class and particular efficacy within any particular class. As stated above the shading dye is a blue or violet shading dye.
- the shading dye is most preferably a reactive blue anthraquinone dye covalently linked to an alkoxylated polyethyleneimine.
- the alkoxylation is preferably selected from ethoxylation and propoxylation, most preferably propoxylation.
