PlanetWare claims infringement, complains to Google

Dear Sir/Madam,

1) Please find our printed Copyright Infringement Notification attached. 

2) (this is the hard copy)

3) [private], our Adsense rep mentioned that our email is being expected.

4) As per the attached document please contact [private] and [private] ([private] will be out of town for July 4-14).

5) We have done our best to try and accurately present the URLs that are currently infringing on ourt content.  We know that they are a lot, but we have been gathering them diligently recently. Our content has been online for many years, and prior to that we had a web subscription site, and prior to that a CD-ROM product for some of our content. 

We have over 80,000 pages of unique content, and we hope that this measure wil help our SERP rankings, as it will reduce illegal redundant content.

The spreadsheet has a string of text which we used to search in Google, and it is _just a portion_ of the respective text for each URL that is being taken.

Please note that as Google SERPs change, some of the infringing URLs may sometimes not appear in the SERPs anymore. 

6) _Some authority sites, like Wikipedia, have even taken content from us. A proof of one example is as follows._

A string from the infringing text in the above example is "Kasserine lies on the Oued el Habeb in the upland steppe country of central Tunisia, surrounded by the country's highest hill."

Our URL: 
http://www.planetware.com/tunisia/kasserine-tun-ka-ka.htm has been free to the public since early 2004.  
Archive.org has a copy of our content from as far back as Jul 11, 2006 as per
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.planetware.com/tunisia/kasserine-tun-ka-ka.htm 

On the other hand Wikipedia's record:

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kasserine&action=history only shows our content from its Feb 4, 2008 copy.  Prior to that our content was not there. They have even omitted giving us credit.
