‘Koningsdag’, formerly known as ‘Koninginnedag’, celebrates the Dutch royal family and simply being Dutch. On April 27th, the king’s birthday, the Dutch dress in the national color, orange, and go out to play games, raise a glass and enjoy the company of friends, family and neighbors.
