AARON CURRY

Aaron Curry (b. 1972, San Antonio, Texas) has recently been the subject of solo exhibitions at the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, Lincoln (2017); Katonah Museum, New York (2015); Rubell Family Collection, Miami (2014); CAPC Musée d’Art Contemporain de Bordeaux, France (2014); Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, New York (2013); and the High Museum of Art, Atlanta (2012). His recent and notable group exhibitions include West by Midwest, Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago (2018); Force and Form, de la Cruz Collection, Miami (2017);  On the Origin of Art, Museum of Old and New Art, Tasmania, Australia (2016); After Picasso: 80 Contemporary Artists, Wexner Center for Contemporary Art, Columbus, Ohio (2015); POM’ PO PON PO PON PON POM PON, Middelheim Museum, Antwerp (2015); The Los Angeles Project, Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing (2014); Variations: Conversations in and Around Abstract Painting, Los Angeles County Museum of Art (2014); and Comic Future, Ballroom Marfa, Texas (2013). Curry’s work is featured in public collections worldwide, including the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago; the K11 Art Foundation, Hong Kong; and the Yuz Foundation, Shanghai, among others. He lives and works in Los Angeles.
