This Honda Motorcycles got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1962 Honda CB77 Super Hawk was purchased by the seller in November 2022 and was subsequently disassembled and refurbished. The frame and bodywork were refinished in red and silver, components were re-plated in chrome and zinc, and the 305cc parallel twin was reportedly tuned. Equipment includes a four-speed transmission, a black two-up seat, a chrome dual exhaust system, a shrouded fork, a center stand, chrome fuel tank panels, rubber knee grips, 18″ wire-spoke wheels, chrome mirrors, and both electric and kick starters. This CB77 is now offered at no reserve in Florida with a Vermont registration document in the seller’s name.

The bike was refinished in 2023 in red with silver fenders and side covers, and the seller reports that chrome components and pieces of zinc hardware were re-plated. Wire-spoke wheels with 18″ chrome rims are mounted with Cheng Shin tires. Suspension consists of a shrouded telescopic fork as well as dual red and chrome shrouded shocks mounted to the swingarm. Braking is provided by a twin leading-shoe drum at each wheel.

The bike features a chrome handlebar and a friction-type steering damper. The Nippon Seiki combination gauge inset into the headlight bucket contains a 120-mph speedometer and a 12k-rpm tachometer. The vertical five-digit odometer shows 19k miles, approximately 150 of which were ridden under current ownership.

The air-cooled 305cc SOHC parallel twin features a dual chrome exhaust system and both electric and kick starters. Factory-rated output was 28 horsepower and 17 lb-ft of torque. The seller states that tuning was completed in August 2023.

The bike does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for a vehicle of its age. It is being sold on its Vermont registration.
