This Honda Motorcycles got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1964 Honda CB77 Superhawk was acquired by the seller in 2012 from the Guy Webster motorcycle collection. The bike features a red-finished frame with silver fenders and side covers and is powered by an air-cooled 305cc SOHC parallel twin paired with a four-speed transmission. Equipment includes twin Mikuni carburetors, conventional front forks, dual rear shocks, and 18″ wire-spoke Akront wheels, along with an aftermarket solo seat, two-into-two exhaust system, foot controls, and steering damper. This CB77 is now offered at no reserve with a toolkit and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The tubular steel frame has been repainted red, while the fenders and side panels are finished in silver. The fuel tank features chrome trim with rubber knee bolsters, and additional equipment includes an aftermarket solo seat, a chrome headlight trim ring, a single rectangular mirror, and a center stand. Aftermarket foot controls have been installed.
Wire-spoke 18″ Akront wheels are mounted with period-correct tires and feature drum brakes at either end. The front suspension consists of conventional forks, while the rear swing arm is mounted with dual shocks.
The chrome handlebar is joined by an aftermarket steering damper and fronts a 120-mph speedometer and a reverse-sweep 12k-rpm tachometer mounted in the headlight bucket. The vertical five-digit odometer shows 550 miles, though true mileage is unknown.
The 305cc air-cooled SOHC parallel twin is equipped with a 180-degree crankshaft and twin Mikuni VM carburetors equipped with pod filters. An aftermarket two-into-two exhaust system has been fitted.
Power is transferred to the rear wheel through a four-speed transmission and a drive chain.
