Quarella opens up to the world of kitchens by offering innovative materials, attention to detail and technologically advanced solutions

Quarella, a world leader in stone and agglomerates, opens up to the world of kitchen design. The company, a leader in the production and marketing of marble and quartz-based agglomerate, after participating in major projects such as airports and commercial spaces, as well as public infrastructures and residential spaces, has decided to explore the world of interior design by challenging the potential and the very characteristics of stone.

Quarella towards new horizons

The brand has, therefore, decided to look toward new horizons. An undisputed success that sees more and more designers and architects choosing Quarella to cover domestic spaces thanks to the use of innovative materials and the full potential of agglomerate. In the world of interiors, in fact, the company works on formats and finishes of different compositions, increasingly thinner thicknesses and revolutionary material combinations.

Laura Testoni, Quarella’s sales director, says, “The great strength of agglomerates lies in their resistance and durability, but also in the possibility of customization. We can combine parts of quartz or marble of different sizes with resin, working on the most diverse colors and geometries to adapt the final product to the requirements of the client.”

The collaboration with Pianca

Quarella has worked with Pianca at the Orizzonte kitchen collection. Breccia Aurora is an agglomerate with warm and precious tones that encapsulates the history of Italian architecture. The brand reinvents this marble from the Brescia quarries in a contemporary key, covering the kitchen’s countertops and surfaces in an elegant and enveloping tone.

Very thin curved panels (up to 1 cm) emerge from the stone. And it is impossible not to notice the geometric essentiality, the balance of vertical elements and horizontal tops, as well as the material and color contrasts, obtained by customizing the structure, top and interior finishes that shape a product that is more than a simple kitchen: a dimension that looks to new scenarios and pursues the evolution of living environments.

Marble and environmental sustainability

Fior di pesco, on the other hand, is among the best sellers of Quarella’s eco-friendly agglomerated marble collection. This elegant material in light gray, warm white and pastel pink tones is capable of embellishing the most refined interior surfaces.

Fior di pesco comes from the mountains of Friuli and, with its soft tones, is able to interpret both modern and elegant environments and more classic spaces, blending perfectly within different interior design concepts and lending an unforgettable touch of Italian iconicity, a sign of timeless style and class.

“Collaborating with important designers has allowed us to explore the potential of these materials,” explains Laura Testoni. “Moreover, working with quarry waste material allows us to be more sustainable without giving up our Italian style.”

During the Salone del Mobile 2024 there will be other companies that have chosen Quarella’s innovative capacity for new projects related to the center of tomorrow’s home: the kitchen.
