MADISON, N.J. (July 2, 2015) – The Drew University men's soccer team begins its quest for a 24th consecutive winning season when the 2015 schedule kicks off at Ranger Stadium on Tuesday, Sept. 1 against Swarthmore College.

The Rangers' new campaign comes on the heels of an offseason-long cliffhanger as veteran head coach Lenny Armuth wrapped up the 2014 season with 299 career wins in the Forest. One away from a major career milestone, Armuth ranks in the top 50 of all-time winningest soccer coaches in the NCAA with 299 wins and a .721 winning percentage. Drew compiled a 10-6-6 (5-2-1) record last fall.

Drew hosts the 32nd annual Fall Festival Tournament on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 5-6 at Ranger Stadium, and will look to repeat as tournament champions against the College of Staten Island, Roanoke College and the College of New Jersey. After TCNJ and Staten Island battle on Saturday at 4:00 p.m., the Rangers open their Fall Fest slate opposite Roanoke at 6:00 p.m. under the lights. Sunday matches pit TCNJ vs. Roanoke at 2:00 p.m. and Drew against Staten Island at 4:00 p.m.

The first road trip of 2015 is a short one down the road for the latest chapter of the Battle of Madison Avenue against FDU-Florham on Sept. 9. Last season's 2-2 draw at Ranger Stadium ended a 31-game winning streak by Drew in the rivalry series.

Drew then travels to DeSales University for a Saturday non-conference clash on Sept. 12 before returning home for a Sept. 16 date with Muhlenberg College. Other non-conference matches include TCNJ on Sept. 23 (away), Manhattanville College on Sept. 26 (home), New York University on Sept. 29 (home), and St. Joseph's (L.I.) College on Oct. 14 (home).

One season after earning the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament, the Rangers enter 2015 Landmark Conference play on Saturday, Sept. 19 against Juniata College at Ranger Stadium. A two-week Landmark hiatus ends on Oct. 3, when Drew travels to Susquehanna University for an afternoon clash.

The Rangers will visit the defending Landmark champions, The Catholic University of America, on October 10, while also making conference trips to The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy on Oct. 21 and Moravian College on Oct. 31 to conclude the regular season. October also includes home Landmark fixtures against The University of Scranton on Oct. 7, Goucher College on Oct. 17, and Elizabethtown College on Oct. 24, which will be Senior Day at Ranger Stadium.
