Showtime Charters
Panama City Beach has a fish with your name on it, so let Showtime Charters help you catch it! Captain Ashton will be your guide, offering years of experience as a captain and angler! Captain Ashton has been fishing the Gulf of Mexico for over 20 years. When he is not working he is also fishing whether that be in Louisiana or South Florida or right here in Panama City Beach, FL.
These waters are known for Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Amberjack, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Bull Shark, Red Snapper, Wahoo, Gray Triggerfish, Vermilion Snapper, and more – with any luck, you’ll find out for yourself!
On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
You’ll find yourself aboard a 42’ Sportfishing with space for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures.
A First Mate will be on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 15-20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Don’t leave home without bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
