Three packages came in the mail today (two from HHR and one from a seller on ebay, who's also a MA user)

From HHR:

-Arsis 'As Regret Becomes Guilt' CD
-Gospel Of The Horns 'Realm Of The Damned' CD
-Haemorrhage 'The Kill Sessions' CD (FREE!)
-Nunslaughter 'Hex' CD
All of them were apart of their "Buy 3 CDs, Get 1 Free" deal. It only applied for select titles, and these were the ones that I was most interested in.

-Bathory 'The Return.....' LP [Brown]
-Bathory 'Under the Sign Of The Black Mark' LP [Dark Blue]
4 down, 2 to go!

From the seller on ebay:

-Nihilist 'Nihilist (1987-1989)' CD
:headbang: I've wanted this for a while now.

Awesome. I'm glad I got mine when I did. I barely missed out on the white vinyl, but was fortunate enough to get the black.

Supposedly yes, but I didn't see it at the shop yesterday. I'm gonna have them order it if I have no luck finding it elsewhere.

Yesterday I hit up a local used record store to buy my uncle a few CDs for christmas.

For him:
Funkadelic - Hardcore Jollies
The Last - Gin and Innuendoes

For me:
King Crimson - Red
King Crimson - In the Wake of Poseidon

Really glad I remembered to check the King Crimson section just before I left. I've been looking for these two for a while now. I listened to Red on the way home and fucking loved it. Less riff-driven than I expected but the drumming is immaculate. Really looking forward to checking out In the Wake of Poseidon when I get home from work.

My uncle tends to like shitty indie rock and thats what The Last looked like. I bought him Funkadelic because I like it, but I made the mistake of putting the disc in and now I think I'm going to end up keeping it and getting him something else. Godly bass work.

One package from Deepsend records, through Amazon:

-Impaled Nazarene 'Ugra Karma' CD reissue
-Impaled Nazarene 'Nihil' CD
-Impaled Nazarene 'Absence Of War Does Not Mean Peace' CD

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that the lyrics to "Zero Tolerance" aren't printed in the CD booklet of 'Nihil'. I have a feeling that Luttinen purposefully used such controversial lyrics for that song since the music is credited to Alexi Laiho. Anyway, I'm listening to that album right now, and it sounds really good.

Went a little crazy ($59) on Amazon's used marketplace. Merry christmas to me I guess:

Captain Beyond - Captain Beyond
Wishbone Ash - Argus
Camel - Mirage

Uriah Heep:
Very 'eavy...Very 'umble
Magician's Birthday
Look at Yourself

Atomic Rooster:
Death Walks Behind You
In Hearing Of...

Pretty fucking excited about all these. All were purchased with minimum sampling. I've got Uriah Heep's Demons & Wizards and have been really digging it so I decided to delve deeper into their stuff.

Atomic Rooster I've only heard songs by here and there. DWBY seems more aggressive and slightly less bluesy but theres something really gutwrenching about the few In Hearing Of... songs that I've heard.

Wishbone Ash seem to be really textural and moody. Not very heavy but I feel like its going to end up really getting under my skin.

Captain Beyond and Camel I really have no experience with (other than everything I sampled from "Snow Goose" by Camel was awful ) but have heard lots of good about.

That would be my copy of Latex Cult, correct? Check your forum messages, I sent you a PM several days ago concerning feedback for your purchase. :)

As far as recent purchases go, I got a copy of Bifrost's Mythistory CD today. Thought I might like it because of the Sabbat influence, but the album didn't make a great first impression.

A local Aussie distro, Bloody Oath. I'm quite sure these are his last pieces of stock because he has to stop ordering for a while because no one bought his stock and was left wayyy out of pocket, which is a total fucking shame. It would be worth throwing him an email at [email protected]

He has no website, only worth of mouth and paper flyers in the underground!

KP told me he sold the rest of his distro stock to Coffins Slave so he could concentrate on the label side of Bloody Oath. His band Ocean Of Zero is doing another demo soon, and he's releasing shirts in the future too.

I think about $15 each for the LP's, and about $20 for the book.
