Russian fonts no longer work with Aeon Nox 4 #555

After updating to version 4, Russian fonts no longer show up.

They worked fine on XBMC 11 with Aeon Nox 3. But after upgrading to XBMC 12 with Aeon Nox 4.09, it no longer works.

According to a post in this thread,

"Are there any plans to use localization-friendly fonts as it was in 3.x? It seems that we have English-only situation again. At least Russian is unusable."

I agree its not very good that in 4.0 with default fontset theres no text visible in Russian. Its a drawback from the fontset used. There is a solution though, change to Ubuntu fontset and the fonts are back how they were in 3.0.

I'm running Windows 8 and not Ubuntu and I'm relatively new to the whole XBMC platform. Is there a tutorial on how to change fontsets in windows?
