Excited to be fishing again and landing monster catches

With recreational fishing now allowed under the relaxed level 3 regulations of the lockdown, fishermen couldn’t wait to get their lines out in the water.

Many local anglers have gone out to the Klip River and caught some massive fish.

Ivan Ramsaroop had to make a trip up from Durban to get in on the action… and it was well worth it! Ivan and a group of his friends landed some ‘monsters’! They caught a 10kg, 7kg and many 5kg and 3kg fish using secret bait.

Amit Badri and his nephew, Tristan Badri, also couldn’t wait to get out on the water and went to Woodstock Dam for some good fishing. Tristan, using his dad’s special bait, managed to land a 3kg carp and Amit a 2.3kg carp.

For Amit and Tristan, it was a great day out at the dam and they can’t wait go again to land some great catches.
