Beurs Van Berlage

De Beurs van Berlage is een prachtige locatie! Waanzinnig mooie architectuur, een mooie geschiedenis, te vinden op een AA locatie in Amsterdam met een gratis bewaakte fietsenparking voor de deur. Veel interessante exposities. Zo waren wij een aantal jaren geleden bij The Body, Grolsch en de reclame expositie van nu. 5 sterren wat mij betreft!

Maar mijn God wat is de service slecht bij het café! Nooit vriendelijk, attent, alert of blij om je te zien! De tafels zijn vies en je wacht eeuwen op het mogen plaatsen van een bestelling. Come on, je komt naar een café om je geld uit te geven, niet om even rond te kijken en weer weg te gaan.. Waarom begrijpen Horeca mensen dat niet? Ik heb hier laatst 30 minuten gezeten en gewacht. Ok dat is mijn eigen fout, ik had ook eerder actie kunnen ondernemen. Ik zat daar met een laptop en mijn tas dus dan ga je niet zo snel even van je plaats weg. Na de 30 minuten ben ik weer naar buiten gelopen. Sjagie en dorstig :)

Ik geef niet graag 2 sterren maar dit overkomt mij nu altijd daar! Het is niet een eenmalige ervaring dus voel ik mij verplicht om dit te schrijven!
Stel.. alleen stel.. dat het self service is.. dan nog kan de bediening die rondloopt mij daar op attenderen! (of überhaupt oogcontact maken) Of het op een andere manier duidelijk maken! Jammer.

Great Venue! The chocolate festival was a lot of fun! The Banksy exhibit was also very nice when I attended that as well. The building itself is quite beautiful and a lot of fun to adventure around in!

We dropped by the Beurs van Berlage for an Expat conference last weekend and it was a fabulous venue to hold a conference. The building is open and well ventilated with small details in the brickwork and a big retro/Art Deco clock on top of one wall. You can go upstairs and look down on the first floor or go to a conference room. The facilities were the cleanest I've seen in a long time in Amsterdam, and its' centrally located right off the Dam. We would go back again for other events.

I spend a lot of time here. The wifi is a decent speed and FREE. They let you linger for a very long time. The disappointing thing is that the food is meh. So if you're looking for an office away from home this is a great spot to work. It also has a very large terrace but with all the construction and traffic it's far from relaxing.

Despite of your reason of visiting this venue will do the trick the old stock trade place is the perfect place for conferences or the Pint "bokbier" events.
