DHL Express

We are having a horrible time dealing with DHL. Our package is being shipped from Mexico to Florida. We've received a text message stating that the package was going to be delivered yesterday and we want to sign for it. Never showed. Last night we got another text saying it was in Customs, then conflicting information about status. The online help line requires a credit card to get any information...what the heck! I have a tracking number! Completely useless customer service.

Argh. Can I give them no stars?

I ordered an item from South Africa. needless to say I paid $65 dollars for a small package to be shipped. I package leave Africa, go to France, Belgium, clear customs in Miami and then "out for delivery " in anticipation I sat on my balcony and waited for it while drinking coffee. At 11:30 am I received a update stating package delivered.

PROBLEM:
1. I DID NOT RECEIVE PACKAGE!
2. It was impossible to receive package without my knowledge, because balcony overlooks front door and drive.
3. I received no proof of delivery (AKA: a phone photo of package in front of door.
4. I am doing this here because I have found it impossible to call DHL TO address this issue.

Worst service ever. Last month delivery was made to wrong address and this month I received a text saying attempted delivery and nobody home when I was sitting on my front porch all morning Very difficult to reach someone live on phone. Avoid at all cost

The product that I ordered got to the destination before the quoted time. I downloaded the tracking shipment app and the location was down for a couple of days but then became accurate very fast. I emailed them and they reassured me of the process it would take considering it was a custom product as well as with shipping from country to country.

I get an alert that DHL delivered the box i send to my daughter at 8.01 pm last night and my daughter signed for the box, she just said to me there were no knocked at her door and she didn't sign for anything as she was in bed by 7.30 pm call DHL and see where is the box? they are closed since am in the UK. she is very unhappy and I am very worried as in this box is 30 kg . they don't need any star every time they treat me the same way ...they are not at all helpful at the other end of the call when i called ..

DHL has horrible customer service representatives my package arrived in tampa 6 days ahead of time. they "attempted" delivery but because there was no one home to sign for it..they didn't leave it. WHICH i did requested i don't need a signature release BEFOREHAND. the last 4 days i have been trying to get these people to bring me my package and they are just giving me the run around everyday it's going "out for delivery" and everyday it does not get delivered. they just keep adding another day to the estimated delivery time (screenshot shows the 22nd AND the 24th.. it is now the 26th and still no package or update) no one is trying to help and they are super annoyed when i ask about it even though it's just sitting in their warehouse. freaking ridiculous i shouldn't have to hound a delivery service for FOUR days to deliver my package. i now have to drive to tampa monday morning to see if i can pick up my package as i don't believe they will actually bring it to me at all.

This company has poor
customer service skills. They do not allow customers to file complaints over the phone. Nor do they allow customers to pick up packages from their location. They refuse all request

I've shipped so many things internationally, but I've never had such a frustrating experience as I did here. First, there's no other locations for you to drop off packages besides far east middle of nowhere Tampa past the fairgrounds. Apparently they used to partner with UPS but not anymore. Second, they rip open all of your packages and make photocopies of your return labels, even your store receipts. I found it all to be very intrusive. Then when I asked for a receipt for tracking the package, she told me to go online and had me take photos of the shipping label. Plus let's not forget the 30 minutes I waited before my turn. Just bad business overall.

I definitely had some frustration with my package delivery with DHL. The good news is that my package actually reached Tampa from far away fairly quickly. Actually getting my package was the hangup. My package had a signature requirement. The DHL website said if you signed up for an account you could do a signature release, but I couldn't find that after my account was created. When you create an account at a shipping company it's pretty important because you have the power to redirect your potentially very expensive or important packages somewhere else. UPS makes you answer questions that only you should know, such as information about former addresses or cars. Obviously this is nowhere near foolproof but at least it's something. With DHL all I had to do to "prove" my identity and create an account was provide my home address. Then without providing the shipping number I was presented with the option to redirect my shipment. This just seems like a painfully unsecure system that is open to abuse. Since I couldn't find how to remove the signature requirement I had to call customer support. She said my only option was to wait at home until possibly 8PM until the package showed up or have it held at one of their locations. I decided to have it held. She stressed multiple times that I should not go in person until I got a notification that the package was ready. The email I was sent when I decided to have my package held also said "We will notify you when the shipment is ready for collection." I never received any other notification. After my package had been at the Tampa location for over 24 hours I finally just gave up waiting for the notification and went and got my package. DHL seems like a fast shipper but they could definitely improve their systems.
