These textures were made in honor of the Dutch modernist painter Pieter Cornelis Mondriaan, commonly known as Piet Mondriaan (Amersfoort, March 7, 1872 - New York, February 1, 1944). He created the artistic movement Neoplasticism and collaborated with the magazine De Stijl and later with the forms of concrete painting.
