#1 Rule for growing an Epic Beard!

Grit? What is grit? Is that the only thing I need?
Grit /grit/ Noun : courage and resolve; strength of character.
Look, your beard is going to look like shit for at least 2 months when you start growing it out. It won't be long enough, It won't be thick enough, it won't be Epic enough. Oh and it will itch like a bitch.
The number 1 thing you need is commitment. You need to hang in there even when you don't want to. Put a mark on your calendar for 3 months. During this time do NOTHING to your face…well okay you can wash it with shampoo and conditioner..and maybe add beard oil if you want, but don't trim, cut, shape or sculpt.
This is the first lesson of beard growth my friend. This is the first lesson to success in any endeavor Whenever you have a goal, follow through everyday. Rain or shine, through health and sickness do not sacrifice your will to persevere.
