The original tower fell down in 1635 and was rebuilt to match the exterior of the southwest tower in 1896-1901. The top level is Early English and beneath are Transitional tripartite openings. The lowest seen level is Norman with three differing styles of openings. To the left the opening has a single flat order with cushion capitals. In the center there is a super-arch with two levels of flat bottoms and an inner arch with ornamentation. All of the arches end on scalloped capitals. To the right the super-arch is shallow but has a fish scale decorated tympanum. The lower string course has both billet and zigzag while the string course above it has only zigzag.
