Live with the sea as your only neighbour
In the middle of the sea lies Nidingen - the world's oldest double lighthouse.
You can only get here by boat during the summer months. The boat runs according to the timetable and lives in the hostel with the sea and the seagulls as the only neighbours.
The first lighthouse was built by the Danes already at the beginning of the 17th century and became Sweden's first lighthouse after the peace at Brömsebro in 1645. The other towers were built in the middle of the 19th century from stone from Varberg fortress.
