From "Afbeeldsels der voornaemste gebouwen uyt alle die Philips Vongboons geordineert heeft", published in 1648. Ref: Hollstein 36 Engraving on laid paper. Made by 'Johannes Vingboons' after 'Philips Vingboons'. Johannes Davidz. Vingboons (ca. 1616-1670) worked in Amsterdam as engraver, cartographer and draughtsman. He was a brother of Philips Vingboons. Philips Vingboons (1607-1678) worked in Amsterdam as architect, painter and cartographer. Good, given age. Some foxing. Ample margins, old central folds, small split at upper en lower fold. Some small tears in margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling.
