This artwork by Zinaida Serebriakova achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2007. In the Russian Art Evening auction, the work Sleeping Nude sold for GBP 580,500.00 (€ 812,850.18) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zinaida Serebriakova have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Study Of A Sleeping Girl in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 3,845,000.00 (€ 5,421,401.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zinaida Serebriakova erzielte im November 2007 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Art Evening wurde die Arbeit Sleeping Nude für GBP 580.500,00 (€ 812.850,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zinaida Serebriakova auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Study Of A Sleeping Girl im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.845.000,00 (€ 5.421.401,74).
