The Australian Open threw up compelling storylines, with several stars producing standout performances to make waves in Melbourne.

No. 83 Arthur Cazaux, +39 (Career High)
Arthur Cazaux enjoyed a potentially career-changing run at the Australian Open, where he delivered a series of electric performances to reach the fourth round on debut at the hard-court major. Cazaux beat Laslo Djere, eighth seed Holger Rune and Tallon Griekspoor before falling to Hubert Hurkacz, and the 21-year-old has risen 39 spots to a career-high No. 83 in the Pepperstone ATP Rankings as a result.

No. 8 Hubert Hurkacz, +1 (Career High)
The Pole has climbed one spot to a career-high No. 8 in the Pepperstone ATP Rankings after reaching the quarter-finals at the Australian Open for the first time. The 26-year-old fell in five sets to Daniil Medvedev in the last eight.

No. 9 Taylor Fritz, +3
The American has jumped three places following his quarter-final showing in Melbourne. Fritz reached the last eight at the hard-court major for the first time, equalling his best result at a Slam. He defeated Top 10 star Stefanos Tsitsipas en route.

No. 41 Miomir Kecmanovic, +19
The Serbian earned two hard-fought five-set wins at the Australian Open, defeating Jan-Lennard Struff and Tommy Paul to reach the fourth round. Kecmanovic was unable to find a way past World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz, though.

No. 47 Nuno Borges, +22 (Career High)
The Portuguese star enjoyed a breakout run in Melbourne, where he advanced to the fourth round at a major for the first time. Borges, who had never been beyond the second round at a tour-level event before his run, upset Brisbane champion Grigor Dimitrov in the third round to break the Top 50 for the first time.
