About the Author

Dr. Sofia Din is a board-certified family medical doctor who has been practicing Primary care, Geriatrics and Anti-aging in Yonkers, New York for the past 15 years. She owns and manages two medical practices, a primary care office that accepts health insurances and a wellness center which provides anti-aging services to all clients. Since anti-aging and aesthetic treatments are not covered under health insurance, clients usually pay for these treatments out of pocket. She also served as a medical director of a 200-bed Nursing Home and Rehab center in Scarsdale, New York for 6 years. Hagar's Foundation is her new non-profit start up to help improve the lives of single mothers by assisting them in obtaining employment while maintaining health and wellness. She has written and compiled this book as a source of revenue for the foundation's ongoing and future work. She is a single mom herself and an immigrant from Pakistan who has not only established herself despite challenges but also inspires and motivates women to become a better version of themselves. She has a 20 year old daughter and her hobbies include snorkeling and painting.
