Bausch & Lomb U.S.A - Ray-Ban Outdoorsman Aviator Arista (Gold) 58-14 with RB-3 Tru Green lens - Sunglasses

DETAILS: Model Ray-Ban Outdoorsman shooter Aviator classic sunglasses with brow-bar (plastic cream pearl) and cable wire temples. Bausch & Lomb USA vintage production, probably from the 1960's. Arista frames - metal gold plated shiny. Standard size (58mm wide lenses). B&L RB-3 Tru Green lenses, optical glass material - only the left lens is laser etched BL, but uncommonly INSIDE top middle (this is very rare, see detail picture) and the right side lens is also probably original (can't be 100% sure), but prior to etching (not etched). Original nose-pads in cream pearl effect plastic (matching the brow-bar) engraved BL on the plastic inside/opposite the nose face (see detail pictures), these are early production.. "B&L RAY-BAN USA" engraved on top of nose bridge top-bar. Unengraved underneath nose-bridge top-bar. Total Width of the Frame (outside, at hinges): 134 mm Length of the Temple (hinge to back of curve: 110 mm Width of the Lens: 58 mm Height of the Lens: - Width of the Nose Bridge: 14 mm Original B&L case cream leatherette with snap closing and black logo seal supplied, as shown. All original and authentic. Please consider the pictures as part of the description as they show the exact item that will be purchased. CONDITION: Please note the following details: right side lens is not etched BL and maybe there is an extremely slight difference of the green tone between the two lenses (this is really practically unnoticeable, but I mention for the sake of complete accuracy); also the left side lens shows a more pronounced beveled edge than usual on the left side top corner inside (this is not concerning nor visible from the outside and may be an original factory slip). In my opinion, these sunglasses are in an excellent vintage overall - slight age patina, few minor wear and time marks, no flaws. Please consider following imperfections only (detail pictures): frame and arms show microscopic pitting/oxidation spots more noticeable nose bridge area inside and arm wires, but these are acceptable and not very obvious; microscopic scratches on lenses outside, more on right lens ansd this lens couple light scratches top - all really acceptable and almost unnoticeable, not concerning to perfect vision. Otherwise, insignificant signs of use. Frames have been thoroughly cleaned to recover original shine and beauty. Lenses no obvious or hard scratches, no nicks, scuffs, cracks or chips. Inside unblemished. Frames with no scratches (other than micro ones), dents, nicks or scuffs. No deformations and no obvious signs of oxidation. Crisp engravings. Original shape and alignment is preserved. Hinges well adjusted - tight, stiff and moving smoothly. Nose pads and brow bar flawless with no cracks or yellowing. Ear wires curved and flexible. Screws original and minor marked. All perfectly clean. Case is mint flawless, no broken stitches and closing firmly with chrome snap button. PACKING & SHIPPING: Package Includes: Item as described and carefully packed together with Catawiki Invoice. I will post this Item by Registered Mail (with Tracking Number, to be provided on Catawiki item page).
