Update, April 27, 2020 10:35 a.m.: The Kitchen star Katie Lee shared another piece of exciting news with her co-stars: She's expecting a baby girl with husband Ryan Biegel.

Katie shared the news while virtually taping the show, saying "We decided to find out whether we’re having a boy or a girl," before pulling out a strawberry milkshake, signaling that they're having a girl, according to PEOPLE.

She confirmed the news in a follow-up Instagram post, saying that originally, she and Ryan were going to wait until their baby was born to find out the sex, but that she figured they could use a bit of good news right now.

"Our original plan was to wait and be surprised at birth, but we decided at a time like this, some good news for us to be excited about right now outweighed a surprise in September," she wrote.

Katie’s famous friends quickly flooded her comments section with well wishes. “Yes yes yes!!! So happy for you guys!!!!!! Katie has been open in the past about her fertility struggles. She first discussed them in an emotional Instagram post in April 2019. “When Ryan and I got married, our plan was to start a family right away,” she wrote in the caption:

I couldn’t wait to get pregnant! I naively thought it would be easy. I had to have surgery to correct a problem, got an infection, then I was so run down I got shingles. My doctor advised us to try IVF. We just finished the intense process only to get zero healthy embryos. Not only is IVF physically exhausting, the emotional toll is unparalleled. We were filled with hope and excitement only to be crushed.

“I know a family will happen for us, it is just going to be a different journey than we imagined,” she continued. “We will keep working towards it. Someday we will have our happy new beginning and I pray any of you experiencing the same will have yours too.”

After posting her pregnancy announcement to the world, Katie also posted a video sharing the news with her co-hosts and the crew on The Kitchen, which she filmed before her public Instagram post. Get the tissues because it is pretty much guaranteed to make you happy cry.

"Y'all are going to be aunts and uncles and I love you," she said in the video, tearing up: "I love all of you and we're all a family."

Katie also said in recent Instagram story that she’s “just so excited…it’s making me tear up.” She added that her journey “wasn’t easy. It didn’t happen overnight,” but that she’s feeling “really happy.” And she also had this to add: “If you thought I ate a lot before…it’s been an all-you-can-eat buffet.”

Congrats, Katie!
