You can send a creepy clown to scare your friends (and deliver doughnuts) in Des Moines. Here's how.

If you want to scare the living daylights out of your family and friends, there's a terrifying clown for that.

Hurts Donut locations in West Des Moines and Coralville will send a scary clown decked out in an eerie white mask and alarmingly colorful costume to deliver doughnuts to your loved ones.

Well, you can bring back those creepy-crawly feelings by sending a clown to your friend's home, a colleague's office or maybe have someone make an unwelcome visit to a house party.

There are some places Hurts won't deliver to, though, including hospitals, mental health facilities, schools and police stations.

People interested in delivery are required to purchase at least a dozen doughnuts at $16.50 and the delivery fee is $25. The total cost is $41.50.
