This is the 3rd book by John Gray that I have read, and it is just as enlightening as the other 2. This book gives a lot of insight to what the opposite sex is thinking/feeling, etc., and why they react the way they do to different situations. It explains how men and women see things very differently and how their needs differ; this knowledge can help you create an environment that gives your relationship the best chance for success.<p> I would recommend this book to anyone who is starting a new relationship, and would like to avoid mistakes they have made in the past, and also to someone who is interested in helping an established relationship become the best that it can be.<p> This book gets a big THUMBS UP!! from me.This is the 3rd book by John Gray that I have read, and it is just as enlightening as the other 2. Phenomenal book to really start to understand the different "wiring" between men and womens brains. Really explains, especially through examples, how and why we misinterpret each other. Was a great educational foundation, and this book leaves you wanting more. The next phenomenal follow up is Pat Loves "How to Improve Your Marriage Without Talking About It" and Pat Loves "The Truth About Love". Anyone in a relationship of any sort will see their relationship in a whole new light. Even w/raising your children!Phenomenal book to really start to understand the different "wiring" between men and womens brains. Really explains, especially through examples, how and why we misinterpret each other. Was a great educational foundation, and this book leaves you wanting more. Great read
I bought this book (after being married 20 yrs) as an effort to help prevent me from carrying over junk that has contributed to the demise of my marriage. What I found is I gained a whole lot of insight & understanding as to why things are they way the are; I saw not only my spouse in this book but myself as well. I highly recommend this book to anyone who even talks to the opposite sex!; let alone wants to effectively communicate or co-habitate.I bought this book (after being married 20 yrs) as an effort to help prevent me from carrying over junk that has contributed to the demise of my marriage. What I found is I gained a whole lot of insight & understanding as to why things are they way the are; I saw not only my spouse in this book but myself as well. I highly recommend this book to anyone who even talks to the opposite sex!; let alone wants to effectively communicate or co-habitate.
