I got this camera off of a friend, as he never really used it at all and it seemed like a perfectly good digital camera. In the times that I have used it, it's a very good camera for it's value. It doesn't glitch out or do a terrible job managing pictures, and it's fairly easy to use. It's also quite simple, and it can use SD cards. Main problems I have with this camera is that it can have a hard time getting a good picture indoors with dimmer lighting. Flash doesn't help that much in these conditions. Pictures can also sometimes turn out grainy or blurred, in any condition if you're not holding the camera still enough. Video recorded with this camera looks very grainy, but that's to be expected with cameras of this value. The video quality is still tolerable to watch, and is on par with other cheapo cameras in daylight outdoors. Other than that, there's not much you can really dislike about this camera. It's very simple, feature-filled for it's value. Great camera overall.Read full review

I bought this camera because it was similar to the j-2 that I had good luck with for years. I had trouble with this camera's zoom lens not working most of the time. The cost to even have someone look at it was more than the camera. I would never buy another 'used' camera. I guess it might be good for parts!
