The realm of fighting games expands farther than the reach of the battlefield, and fans of Street Fighter's world warriors will soon have a new way to play with them.

Kolossal Games, Kess and Blacklist Games recently launched their campaign to release an officially licensed tabletop game Street Fighter 5: champion Edition Legends that focuses on cooperative play and is available for pre-order now or right now for a digital version.

Players can team up with up to 3 friends controlling SF5's characters using unpainted figures and themed decks to advance through levels of minions before fighting a powerful boss.

The base game is currently priced at $75 and contains Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Dhalsim, R. mika, Laura, Zangief, Karin, Ibuki, Birdie, Rashid and Sakura plus 6 decks, 4 nemesis enemies, and everything else needed to play the game.

There's also a Four Kings expansion for $45 that adds 12 new fighters including Guile, Blanka, E. Honda, Cammy, Menat, Lucia, Nash, Poison, M. Bison, Vega, Balrog and F.A.N.G.

Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition Legends is available to pledge through Gamefound until March 13 though the campaign reached its initial funding goal in only 3 hours.

Those who pre-order any edition of the game will also receive Dan as an extra fighter, and orders are scheduled to start shipping out in March 2024 for North America and South America with Europe and Asia getting it a bit earlier.

There's a way to try the game out right now too, as there's an official digital version of SF5 Legends available to play through Steam's Tabletop Simulator, which can be found here.
