Promotion of Karakoram K2 Mount Godwin Austin Expedition
My Travel Story
I beleive that all would be pretty fine there with you. This Summer, I am on a once in a life time experience to the Karakoram & its prominent peaks. It is named as the PROJECT " SILENT FEET ". At the height of 8,611 meters, K2 is the world’s second highest peak. The scenery along this trek is incomparable to any other trek in the region, from icy rivers to granite pyramidal mountains, including Paiju, Uli Biaho, Great Trango Tower, and K2. The trekking trail takes around 15 days minimum to cover.
K2 is also known as Savage Mountain due to the difficulty involved in the ascent. It has the second highest fatality rate among eight-thousanders.
The main Basic mission is to highlight those silent feet who help the mountaneers & the men on expedition accomplish the goal to reach the summit & many of em lose their lives on the way & go un noticed. My aim is to go figure out those invisible footmen & highlight their efforts for a greater cause.
On the way, there are many amazing mountain passes i.e. including Gondogoro La ( 5940 M). It will be the cynosure of all my friends who contribute towards the effort taken. Any extra donations would be making a worthwhile contribution to this project.
