Koninklijke Hoogovens was founded in Netherlands.
1946
Kaiser Aluminum was founded by Henry Kaiser in Washington, USA.
1966
Koninklijke Hoogovens began production and sales of aluminum.
1968
Kaiser Aluminum invented Kalzip by getting inspired from zipper, the world's first aluminum standing seam roof system.
1987
Kaiser Aluminium Euro-Unit were acquired by Hoogovens, making Hoogovens one of the four largest aluminium producers.
1999
Hoogovens merged with British Steel PLC to form Corus Group PLC, making Corus the largest steel company in Europe.
2002
Corus incorporated fully-owned subsidiary Hoogovens Building Systems (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd.
2007
Corus was acquired by Tata Group. Hoogovens has finished amount of aluminum standing seam projects worldwide.
