International Relations at Dutch Cycling Embassy

Long dominated by cars and hostile to cyclists, Brussels is making big moves (infrastructure, traffic circulation, 30 km/h limit) to reverse that trend. The results speak for themselves: this week recording their 10 millionth cycle journey of 2023; more than double that of 2020.

Good stuff. The infrastructure's a lifesaver. Some areas, especially in the North, are still death traps for cyclists, but the cycle lanes in the center especially are brilliant additions.
