I am so proud of my friend Rochelle Gilmore who will be heading off this week for Nepal to attempt a summit of EVEREST! Rochelle is an Ambassador for Action Medical Research but also a mate, so with all the luck and good wishes and positive vibes in the world I wish her well on her mammoth adventure and I look forward to posting the summit pics in a couple of months!     My job means I get to go out on a luxury yacht for sunset on the Solent courtesy of Garmin UK as part of a team bonding initiative. Garmin are lucky to be blessed with an extraordinary team of passionate and driven young people who inspire me every time we meet. Thanks to the team at Garmin for inviting me, but also to Jack Fairbrother (pictured) who is not only a mate but personally affected by the work of Action Medical Research and super focused to help us make funds this year.     Calling All Cycling Enthusiasts! 🚴♀️ Are you passionate about cycling and making a difference? 🌟 I'm looking for dedicated volunteers to run feed stations during our exciting RIDE Series cycle events. 🚲 Event Details: Fressingfield, Suffolk Date: Sunday, May 19th Time: 8:45 am to 2:00 pm Location: Fressingfield Village Hall Responsibilities: Set up and manage the feedstation, distribute refreshments, and cheer on cyclists as they pedal through picturesque Suffolk! Hooe, East Sussex Date: Sunday, June 2nd Time: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Location: Hooe Recreation Ground Duties: Keep the energy high by providing snacks, hydration, and encouragement to riders conquering the scenic East Sussex route!     Such a GENIUS idea! We are supported by The GINGERMAN, Brighton, (Pamela McKellar)which is a family run chain of incredible restaurants in on the South Coast and for many years they have delivered £10,000 a year by adding a £1 donation to one of their delicious deserts and giving this to Action Medical Research. This video shows the lovely Pamela explaining why they support the children's charity in this wonderful way. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
