At the moment Laurie is 1st Us 'Ozzy' in the musical 'We Will Rock You'.
Later this year Laurie will be playing the part of 'Annette' in the musical Saturday Night Fever.
Laurie graduated in 2001 in Performing Arts from 'Lucia Marthas' in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Whilst following her artistic training, Laurie performed both as a singer and dancer in several (television) shows such as 'Honeymoon Quiz', 'Doet ie het of doet ie het niet', 'Sterren Playbackshow', 'Weekly Jones', 'De Vijf uur Show' and 'Soundmixshow'.
Whilst training, Laurie performed in theatre shows as well, such as 'Showbizz City' and 'De Tijdaffaire'.

Upon succesful achievement of her artistic training, Laurie made her professional debut in the musical industry through performing in the Dutch version of 'Saturday Night Fever' , in which she was Ensemble and Understudy 'Black Couple' directed by Lou Jacob, choreographed by Sarah Miles and produced by Joop van den Ende.
Between 2002 and 2004, Laurie was Swing and Ensemble in 'Aida', produced by Stage-entertainment Germany, directed by Robert Falls and choreographed by Wayne Cilento.
In 2004, Laurie was to be seen as Ensemble and Understudy 'Stefanie' in 'Saturday Night Fever' in Munich, directed by Alex Balga and choreographed by Arlene Phillips.
Consequently, between 2005 and 2006, Laurie performed as 'Teen Queen' and Understudy 'Ozzy' in 'We Will Rock You', directed by Ben Elton and choreographed by Arlene Phillips (WWRY Musical GmbH).
In 2006, Laurie went on tour around Germany with the musical 'Saturday Night Fever', in which she played the part of 'Stefanie' (directed by Alex Balga, choreographed by Arlene Phillips and produced by Thomas Krauth).
Back in her native country The Netherlands in 2006, Laurie's artistic career evolved through playing the part of 'Stormy' in 'Winx Club on Tour' produced by Mark Events Productions and directed by S.Burleson and D.Wijnands (choreography by Gerold van Windt).
Between 2006 and 2007, Laurie toured around The Netherlands with 'Beatles in Concert' in which she co-starred next to Joke Bruijs, produced by the Dutch Royal Air Force Orchestra. This concert-show, directed by Martin van der Werff and choreographed by Patrick Kiens, enabled Laurie to diversify and extend her artistic profile since she was one the 4 Soloists on stage.
In 2007, Laurie was Ensemble in 'The Wiz', directed by Glenn Casale and choreographed by Anthony van Laast (Joop van den Ende Theater Produkties).
In 2008 and 2009 Laurie was Ensemble and Dance Captain in 'Hollywood in Concert' and 'Rockopera in Concert' produced by the Dutch Royal Air Force Orchestra.
In the Summer of 2008 Laurie was swing in the musical Evita, and in 2009 she was Swing in the musical 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' produced by Stage-entertainment Holland.
In 2009/2010 Laurie was ensemble and 1st US Velma and Roxie in the Dutch tour of the musical Chicago, produced by Mark Vijn.
In 2010 Laurie was ensemble and us Ozzy in the musical We Will Rock You in Holland.
In 2011 Laurie was once again working for the Royal Airforce Orchestra.
This time as a Soloist touring the Netherlands in the show 'A Tribute to Michael Jackson'.
In the Summer of 2011 Laurie returned to the musical We Will Rock You for a short contract in Belgium.
Later this Year Laurie will be playing the Part of 'Annette' in the musical 'Saturday Night Fever'.
Laurie also gained experience in cinema. She played small parts in the Dutch movies 'Oesters van Namkee', 'Wild Romance', a movie about the life of the Dutch rock star Herman Brood.
As a television actress, Laurie made guest appearances in Dutch series, among which 'Baantjer', 'Costa', 'De Band', 'Gotcha', 'Man en Paard', 'Samen', and 'Shouf Shouf Habibi'.
Most rencently Laurie played the part of Sonja in the Movie 'De Heineken Ontvoering, which will be released in October 2011..
