Why we love it:
Fans of everything fearless and original, it is no surprise that South London-based designer Una Burke‘s creations caught our eye and made it to our must-have list this week.
Rarely we see something so intricately made, sculptural and bold yet still wearable – from a designer who counts Madonna, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Daphne Guinness as as clients.
This particular leather mini-jacket (or is it?) ticks all the boxes for us. Worn over a strapless body-con or a Grecian-inspired flowy number, this statement accessory can transform any look into something extraordinary. We also love the fact it is edgy yet retains a certain feminine aspect thanks to its blueberry hue and layered design.
Like all Una Burke’s designs – made from high quality vegetable-tanned leather, this piece is not for the faint-hearted. We reckon it could be a good idea to rock it and make a statement while we’re busy attending the shows at Seoul Fashion Week later this month.
