According to him, his parents have called him "Bill" since he was three years old and he never recognized himself by his real name. However, he often posted on guitar tab sites signing as Niuton Filho and had a heavy/power metal website that carried his real name."Hudson" is a homage to Slash (whose real name is Saul Hudson), who inspired him to start playing guitar.
