The only indoor ski resort in North America is in N.J. and it’s pretty good. Lindsey Vonn thinks so, too.

I have to admit, I was skeptical as I waited inside the mall with nowhere to put on my boots or even to lean my skis.

I’m an avid skier, used to long, winding trails in Vermont and New Hampshire, and spoiled by the immaculate grooming and deep powder of Deer Valley, Alta and other Utah resorts. Plus, like so many skiers, what I tend to remember are the rare sunny, blue-sky days on the slopes, while forgetting the all-too-frequent cloudy and even rainy ones, which typically follow a four-hour drive north.
