She was famously the number 1. pin-up girl for American troops during WWII. Gable was particularly known for her legs which her film studio had insured and which starred in her iconic bathing suit photo from 1943.

Gable's most famous films include "Down Argentine Way" (1940) and "How to Marry a Millionaire" (1953), where she starred alongside Lauren Bacall and Marilyn Monroe.
