In 1957 Mansfield received a Golden Globe award for her role in "Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter", a follow-up from her appearance in the stage show. She is also remembered for starring in the film "The Girl Can't Help It" (1956) and for "Promises! Promises!" (1963) in which she became the first major film star to appear naked on screen.
