Swamp football - Hyrynsalmi, Finland Swamp football is a variation of football, which is literally played in swamps. It is said that it comes from Finland where it was an exercise for soldiers and athletes. It’s physically demanding, because you have to trudge along swamps and kick the ball. You also get wet and after the game you can throw your clothes into the garbage bin.
