Berlusconi engaged in 13 sexual acts, say prosecutors

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi engaged in 13 sexual acts with 17-year-old starlet “Ruby the Heart Stealer” last year, Italian prosecutors told the media on Tuesday. The courts are also looking into the 74-year-old leader’s involvement in a prostitution ring.

The inquiry into the suspected prostitution ring run by three of Berlusconi’s associates notes that 33 women were involved, including Karima El Mahroug - otherwise known as “Ruby”.

Orgies also took place in which women “touched or were touched intimately by Silvio Berlusconi”, the prosecutors were quoted as saying.

The results of the inquiry show that the parties held at the prime minister’s villa involved “masks, stripteases and erotic dances”, and Berlusconi chose “one or more women for the night for intimate relations”.

Berlusconi already faces a separate trial, that starts on 6 April, on charges that he paid for sex with underage Ruby, subsequently attempting to use his political power to cover up the alleged crime.

Berlusconi and El Mahroug both deny having sex, and the Prime Minister has denied all charges.
