A massive sinkhole opens up in the middle of Los Angeles, separating a family between two worlds. The mother and son fall into an unexplainable primeval land alongside a group of strangers trying to figure out where they are, and how to get back home. Left above is a daughter, who barely manages to survive the disaster, and the father, whose troubled past and hallucinations make him an unlikely choice to help solve the mystery -- and reunite the family. But when he realizes his visions might just be the key to finding their loved ones, time will be the only thing that stands in their way.

Season 1 is the lowest rated for me between Season 2 and 3, but there is something here I have enjoyed more than other shows I've watched recently. Yes, there are problems with the show. Why is everyone so clean and well groomed? Other than that, I've enjoyed the family dynamic. It makes me want to know what happens next.

How did this show not get cancelled? This show has more plot holes the colander. The characters are annoying and pathetic... How did they all not win Darwin awards in the first episode? Terra Nova was cancelled after one season, which a much better show then this mess and - yet - somehow a production company thought sinking more money into this disaster was a good idea.

this show was trying so badly to be like Manifest. The 100 and Lost altogether but sadly ended up being so bad. The premise of the show wasn't bad but it was poorly executed. The acting was okay, but that girl who plays the daughter of the main character who doesn't have a leg is the worst actress ever. Some of her scenes are so horrendous I stg. The CGI in the show was bad so bad like please who are you fooling? I didn't even get attached to none of the characters. I only liked the Australian guy aka the Indian guy he was funny. I wouldn't trust anyone who says that is a good show that.
